Portman House

Portman House is perfect for a country getaway with absolute class. Situated in an elevated position with grounds surrounding the main house, Portman House oozes quality, charm, and opulence. Renovated to a very high standard by the owners, this property has the very best of both worlds. The high Georgian ceilings and large windows of the kitchen combine seamlessly with the range cooker, electric oven and American Fridge Freezer. The large open fire place, complete with granite surround blends with the with the 14 seater dining table and modern settees that adorn the lounge. If you are planning a (civilised) party, then the cellar is the ideal space with karaoke machine, lots of comfy bean bags and even your very own bar....(drinks not included!).

A cosy snug and a downstairs bedroom and bathroom complete a stunning downstairs ensemble before you head upstairs to the 5 large bedrooms and 3 lavish bathrooms. Roll top baths, walk in showers, and King size luxury beds are just some of the delights that you can find upstairs.

If you head below ground to the cellar even more delights await. A bar area, karaoke, cinema room with projector, and a 7 seater sauna have all been included to make a stay at Portman House as entertaining as you can get.

The outdoor hot tub perched on the raised patio is the perfect place to enjoy some relaxation time and drink in the countryside views (available all year round). Once recharged, the games room with pool table, darts and table tennis will keep all entertained.

If you do decide to venture out then there are a number of local country pubs serving hearty fayre and cold cider. The local farm shop, just a short walk away, offers so many tasty morsels its almost too hard to choose...almost.

Please Note: There are noise restrictions in place at this property whereby no external music players must be brought to the property (portable bluetooth players are provided and these must be kept at a low level) and external noise must consider other guests which means no excesses of shouting or screaming at any time.
